Compensation starts at $21.33/hour, with increases based on experience and qualifications. 

Regular full-time Monday thru Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm.

What You’ll Do

As an Early Learning Teacher – Explorer Stream, you’ll:

• Lead engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities aligned with Alberta’s Early Learning and Child Care Framework.

• Use creative, play-based learning techniques to support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical growth.

• Provide support to children with daily care needs, including assistance with diapering, toileting, and hygiene routines. 

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team—such as Speech-Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and Behavioral Consultant—to implement tailored strategies that meet each child’s unique needs.

• Build strong, supportive relationships with families to ensure they feel empowered and connected to their child’s learning journey.

• Create a classroom environment that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

• Assess developmental progress, adapt learning plans, and continuously monitor outcomes to help each child thrive.

We’re looking for a compassionate and dynamic Early Learning Teacher – Discovery Stream to join our team. In this unique role, you’ll spend half your time leading inclusive, play-based instruction in the classroom with children ages 3-5 and the other half working directly with families in their homes or in a community setting. You’ll support individualized learning plans, help families navigate life’s challenges, and take on administrative tasks such as documentation, program planning and preparation, and participating in meetings to ensure seamless program delivery and coordination.

In the Classroom:
